Rooms from Stories – from seat to seed is a delicate narrative, a contemporary fairy tale that invites us to rediscover what we have, and where it comes from.
It is a journey backwards, from the object to its origin, revealing the choices, materials, and visions that shape what we live with every day.
In Italy, as children, we grow up with a simple, beautiful song:
“To make a table, you need wood,
to make wood, you need a tree,
to make a tree, you need a seed…”
It is a chain of wonder, something we intuitively understand as children, and too often forget as adults.
Through five episodes, the project unfolds as a poetic exploration of transformation:
a story that traces the life of a product, from its most refined form back to its most essential beginning.
At its core, it reflects Kave Home’s commitment to plant-based materials and conscious design, revealing not only how things are made, but why they are made that way.

Rooms from Stories – from seat to seed è una narrazione delicata, una fiaba contemporanea che ci invita a riscoprire ciò che possediamo e da dove proviene.
È un viaggio a ritroso, dall’oggetto alla sua origine, che svela le scelte, i materiali e le visioni che plasmano ciò con cui conviviamo ogni giorno.
In Italia, da bambini, cresciamo con una canzone semplice e bellissima:
“Per fare un tavolo, serve il legno,
per fare il legno, serve un albero,
per fare un albero, serve un seme…”
È una catena di meraviglia, qualcosa che comprendiamo intuitivamente da bambini, e che troppo spesso dimentichiamo da adulti.
Attraverso cinque episodi, il progetto si sviluppa come un’esplorazione poetica della trasformazione:
una storia che traccia la vita di un prodotto, dalla sua forma più raffinata fino al suo inizio più essenziale.
Al centro, riflette l’impegno di Kave Home verso materiali vegetali e design consapevole, rivelando non solo come le cose vengono fatte, ma anche perché vengono fatte in quel modo.
Non è solo una storia su una sedia.
È una storia di attenzione.
