Among the Mangroves Roots is the latest chapter in Sara Ricciardi’s ongoing artistic research exploring the intersection of sound, textiles, and collective well-being, presented for the firts time at Homo Faber 2026.
Conceived as a living textile sculpture, the work invites visitors into a shared experience of listening, contemplation, and interaction.
Metallic elements tuned to a pentatonic scale are activated through movement and presence, generating a collective sound composition that encourages calm and connection.
Created in collaboration with Antica Passamaneria Massia Vittorio 1843, a renowned excellence of Italian craftsmanship, the installation evokes an immersive ecosystem inspired by mangrove roots, where relationships, sounds, and textile weavings transform participation into a collective act of care.
